Apparently Peter Green was in that great English Blues training group of John Mayall's Bluesbreakers in the mid 60s. I don't know if He and E. C. ever served time in the group together.

Peter did some off and on gigs, in the Bluesbreakers replacing Clapton (when Clapton went to play in Greece with some friends in the band The Glands 1965) before he officially joined John Mayall's Bluesbreakers on June 17,1966 replacing Eric Clapton after Clapton departed to form the band Cream.

Listening to this band for the first time and I think I'll have to track down a copy of it.
