had to take it apart from the top to have access to the sockets to cut the paint loose and remove the bulbs, some still requiring pliers then had to reassemble to install the lamps thru the dial face because the leds are too long to fit thru the top.

i'm gonna have to put that poster to use and track down the stereo indicator issue. i am pretty sure that i have fm stereo.

Thats one of those scary indicator needles . . . not gonna say it , nice looking dial face

I'll have to adjust the Sony sled in the player, check lube and replace any belts. Usual stuff for a player 18 years of age and of this transport type. Load shudder. Perfect playback of both formats tho. View attachment 3857232View attachment 3857233
Sure is beautiful gear! I own 2 pieces of ES gear, and briefly had a Sony AVR... I must say, I was not impressed with the construction quality at all... I realize this equipment is prolly a step up or 2 from the ES gear, but I won't buy Sony gear again... but I gotta say this is exquisite looking gear... :)

The 77 and 90ES gear was fine but Sony puts on the dog for their “1” components
