AR Boston Acoustics Advent Infinity, so many brands made them, but what are your favorite make and model AS speakers?

I'd have to go with the best pair of acoustic suspension speaker I ever owned: a lovely walnut pair of large Advents that I bought in '75 or so.

I've had two sets that I'm aware of: ADS L810, my all time favorite speaker period.

My Acoustic Research are headed up the charts with a bullet...I like them more and more each day.

I loved my old Advents, but the Spica TC-50s I still own have magic in them, especially with a tube amp.

VERY impressed with the Heathkit AS-104 speakers I picked up at S-A a couple weeks ago.
Enjoying them greatly!

Tough question...

Well, I have to say The Boston Acoustic A400.

I like mine a lot to. The fact of the matter is there size, they kind of overwhelm our main living room. Great speakers, all around. I also had the later T930 and 830. There not up to the same calibre as the A speakers, but they also sound very excellent. Guys that are just starting out, and are unsure what speakers to get and not have to worry about spending a lot. The T930 and T830 are some to look out for.

The reason I started this was to get some ideas, Im looking for something else to try. Ideally something like the A400s would be prefect if they had a deeper foot print opposed to wide. Even something a little smaller might work for me, of 3-way design. Sensitivity is no matter I have lots of clean watts to feed them. Any ideas?

These ADS (L990?) look intriguing. They look like they sound beautiful just sitting there. I was checking out a small set of ADS in a flea market a few weeks ago, never heard ADS just know of them.

More AS!

Adore my KLH Model Six's. They run neck and neck with my Klipsch Cornwalls as my favorite all around speakers.

I used to have a pair of KLH 6's and still kick myself for letting go of them. They float close to the top for me, but I also had a great pair of ADS L-somethings in the mid 70's. Did ADS have a model called L100? They were roughly the size of the 6's with metal grilles and were among the clearest speakers I heard back then.
