Wondering what every has for there favroite speakers?

Out of the many speakers I've owned only 3 have stayed n won't be going anywhere any time soon, they are 2 pairs of Electro Voice FR12-2, and a pair of KLH Model 17 and Kef C40

I just can't find anything about my JBL L-220's that makes me want to replace them. My ADS L-1590's, Cornwalls, Forte's, AR-11's are close.
 
The two pair of Acoustats that are in my main system. I don't even bother with any other speakers.
 
My current Anthony Gallo Reference 3.1's Love these speakers. They do everything so well, but the wrap around tweeters are magical. I gave up up LaScala's, Carver Amazings and a fewer others after hearing these.
 
For me it's my 2 pairs of radford s90 transmission lines and my bozak symphony's with the moorish cabinets.:smoke:
Who need s a sub with that combination:D
 
My lord I've have had so many.
I guess it would be my Energy 5.1e. I still have these in my main system and always seem to go back to them no matter what I try to replace them with.

Westlake BBSM-10's with the Westlake 18" TAD subs (don't remember the model number). This set up is amazingly realistic .. top to bottom …. open, even, dynamic yet capable of warmth, subtlety, and delicacy … a great speaker system. Not cheap, but I loved having them for a couple of years. Then I needed money … oh well. I also really love the BBSM5 … highly realistic portrayal of drum sounds. The RBH 641SE is maybe my all time favorite for non-fatiguing listenability. Musical enjoyment without having to think too much about what I'm hearing … probably what it should be all about? A recording engineer friend of mine has tried to buy them from me several times … as he says they are (to his ear) the most accurate speaker he's heard … hmmmm.
 
My favorite speakers for what purpose. For stereo. I would say XR290's by Mcintosh followed by a my pair of tri amped Concert grands with vifa super tweeters. For Home theatre M&K The fronts and center being used in Multiples stacked 3 high. For out doors space permitting a pair of bozaks largest Columns other wise a pair Community Light and Sound or EV coaxial outdoor horns. For smaller rooms where the speakers are to be built in walls only a few inches thick I've heard some Bostons and others that perform equally well. My favorite big coax is an Altec 604 followed by big Tannoy's. My favorite panel speakers were Acoustat followed by Magnepan. Horn speakers, would be JBL followed by Klipsch. Small bookshelf speakers would be McIntosh ML-1c tuned up with Rogers update providing room eqalizers were used.

Damn... XR290's and Concert Grands... Two very-major-league speakers.
 
These... 1963 Wharfedale W90's with n.o.s. oil caps....... Just add Fisher... Makes it's own sauce.
