What Brand Are These SE140 Speakers ?

So my father got this pair of speakers all the info i know is that they are West German made, Could Possibly be Canton (made by not necessarily branded as) but no idea of the brand for sure much less around when were they made
they sound good i really like their sound

the inside is packed to the brim of fiberglass (extremely itchy to my arms)

Googling them just 2 other pairs exactly like this one appear as having been sold online, a very similar pair appears under the magnum brand however the cabinet finish is different and much more so are the speaker connectors (these ones are spring style)

Anyone has any idea what they are ?

yeah that pair and maybe some other one in europe (either russia or poland) are the only ones ive found online that look exactly like these ones

also forgot to add, their front grill is made completely out of metal , its attached by fitting snugly into the cabinet, no holes o align or anything

Drivers look similar to those used in the Braun L830. I'm not suggesting that's what they are, though; the midranges and tweeters are switched side to side compared with yours, and the wood frame on the Braun is thicker. While both Braun and Canton used metal grilles, a brief image search tells me that Canton generally used midranges and tweeters with round, rather than square frames.

Canton (and ADS) came from Braun and at first used Braun drivers.

Many years ago I had a pair of Canton HC100's. Cast aluminum box with a steel grill. Used them in my truck.

Based on this OEM advert, SE HiFi was an entity based in New Brunswick NJ, they must of had some good purchasing power to partner with Canton.

HOLY...

i certainly didnt expect it to be such an accurate guess

so it seems these pairs were indeed made by Canton for a company in the US around early 80s ?!

so it seems the were mostly based of the Canton Fonum PC210 ?

however these by the tag have a higher wattage rating and different Cross-Over frequencies so i guess custom made by Canton ?
