Well, with two Pioneer stacks and the hodge-podge built around the Realistic STA-2000D, I had to go Pioneer.

I wnet with Pioneer on this one as I have damn near the whole X3X series and a few other stragglers from other series'. The SX 1010 sees the most use.

Sui QRX - 9001 waiting to get put back in use, and a QRX-7001 in the bedroom.

Guess I'm voting sansui :D

I rotate my main with receivers and separates. Sansui, Marantz, Pioneer, and Yamaha in no particular order. I don't want to burn any of the old buggers out.

Cool, OTHER is showing a strong third place. Shows that there should really be no brand forums. The real combatants should just be the tubies Vs the SSers. Solid Staters unite, throw down your tribal loyalties to your brand warlords and join us in fighting off the heathen tubies that would have us meekly kneeling to the glow of filaments :thmbsp:

My primary system: Other

My secondary system: Other

DW's primary system: Marantz. But she doesn't come here.

Seriously. I loved my old yammie, I couldn't leave yamaha out of the game.
I had a CR-2020, but I accidentally blew the ICs out, and gave it to a friend as a parts unit.

I should have voted HK. It's my HT receiver and hasn't changed brand (only model) in 6 years.

The 2220b I voted for has been temp. replaced by an SX-950, and if it continues to sound this good, it might be permanent. I just wish it were smaller.

The poll assumes: (1) the voter has only one system; (2) they use a receiver or "amp," which I assume means an integrated amp. If it means power amp or preamp, it should say so. The poll is unvotable WRT my current systems.

Everybody has a "main"
by receiver/amp I meant a receiver or your amplification unit.
Is this so hard?

Receiver/amp - / implies "or" while saving typing space.
Amp is short for amplifier, that should cover int's or power.

Sometimes I think people argue just to argue.

No. I have separate HT and "audiophile" systems. Which one gets used most depends upon the situation.
Seriously, please just pick one, this is driving me nuts. :nutz:
