This awesome "Book Set" was released 11 years ago and contains: Two video DVDs, One video BluRay, and Two CDs. It depicts two classic Stones performances; their 50th anniversary concert in 2013 at Hyde Park as well as their classic 1968 Hyde Park performance with the debut of Mick Taylor two days after the death of Brian Jones.

It all comes in a 60-page glossy book with plenty of great pictures. This is a must-have book set for any Stones fan and best of all... it is still available and relatively reasonably-priced.

I'm listening to the CDs but any of the discs can be played in my Pioneer BDP-09FD.

Been a fan of this guy in a LOT of things I've seen him in. The John Wick Quadrology, American Gods, Kings ...
But I had no idea he had a singing voice ... so when I saw this a couple weeks ago, I decided it would be worthwhile just for the grins ...
But - he's actually got a good voice, and, a nice selection of tunes!
OMG - he does "Drive" by The Cars ... Avalon by Roxy Music ...
1992 CD - on Polygram. Funniest thing, the album art is signed!

Wiki sez: In 1992 he recorded and released a solo studio album, From Both Sides Now, in which he sang cover versions of popular songs.
The album reached number 40 in the UK Albums Chart

Actually, I played it on a usb disc drive on my Mac Studio max 4 and ripped into my music library.

Wow, those Mac Studio max 4s are awesome.

So did you rip it to ALAC?
Yes - over the last few years I ripped most everything onto an external 2TB Music drive in ALAC format.
I bought the Apple M4 Max a year ago via Apple's no interest financing - just paid it off this month ($250/mo).
It replaced an M1 Max I bought couple years back and am passing on to my wife to replace her ancient macbook pro.

We all have our short list of favorite albums and like a lot of people, I tend to upgrade whenever I see a newer version that looks promising. I remember buying this one when it first came out in 1978 on 8-track. Played the living crap out of it until the tape was eaten by the player. Like a lot of bands, it's hard to beat their iconic debut album.

Next I bought the vinyl LP. Played the crap out of that one too (it's long gone).

Later in the '80s I upgraded to the CD. I still have that somewhere.

Then a few years ago I saw this 2016 remastered version and ordered it from Japan. Man it sounds good. It's a good "test" CD for a sound system.

I play it on my BDP-09FD and crank up the SRTs....

Digitally, I also have just about every other remaster and high-def version in FLAC format but I'm still a big physical media fan.
