I thought I would start this thread it's alot of fun to hear what everyone is listening to and what Player they are using.

I have an older Phillips CDB650 playing Sibelius Symphony no. 2 in D -"Finlandia". Telarc CD-80095

Sounds great through my Martin Logans. I am being very patient guys waiting delivery Monday of my new Marantz SA8003. I think you would be proud of me. I am getting a little better. :yes:

Here's my Magnavox (NAP) CDB-650 player I got in 88 or so. Its like new, always under a cover when not in use. Made in Belgium October 87.

I'm currently listening to Lost in Space music by John Williams. Its the Williams treatment to the old cheesy SF series. The sound is terrific! Its the first in a series entitled The Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen.

I am listening on a Sony CDP-C301M which will no doubt draw mockery but my speakers are Klipsch Heresy III's which should provoke some ooh and ahhs.

Good to hear on the Marantz, I have a DV9600 running in bedroom which is a nice unt.

Since one of my wife's favorite bands is Fleetwood Mac, Rumours is currently on the Nakamichi DRAGON-CD Limited and piped through to my ML Clarity's.

Loving those ML's for sure! They have me out there shopping for new gear! The Clarity's sure are one magnificaent speaker there TB.

Mike, you have awesome taste your gear is probably one of the coolest collections here on AK!

Listening to joe satriani on a denon dvd/sacd player hooked up to a marantz sr 4021 and some time frame 400's I just picked up this morning. :yes:
 
I have to say this. When I bought my CDB650 I stopped keeping up on the new players over the years so almost all of these mentioned so far are unfamiliar to me.

Its just now I am starting to learn what has gone on since I got my original player back in the early nineties. Now that I have bought new I see how far they have come. Amazing. And I never even mentioned how far behind I am on the evolution of the CD.

I am going to look up some of these, wish we had some pics guys! But thats cool! :smoke:

Peter White Glow CD-R on a JVC XL-Z444. I got this cdp back in the late 80's and it plays cdr's better than most of my newer ones do.
