What CD are you listening to? What CD Player?

i'm listening to the cd 'merriweather post pavilion' by 'animal collective' on a bryston bcd-1.
i'm also fortunate to own a mac mvp-871 for sacd and dvd-a discs.
both play cd's excellently even though each has it's own individual sound;
the bcd-1 produces uncolored audio playback, while the mvp871 adds a little warmth to the proceedings.
i love the sound of both.

my other equipment includes: mac ma7000; b&w 805n's; velodyne hgs15 sub.

Great cd. One of my absolute favorites. Love her voice and the recording quality is pretty darn sweet for being live. The violins on "I've Got You Under My Skin" just draw me into the music.

It's really one great recording thats for sure. She was right here in the room with me in my mind. This Marantz does a really great job on whatever I feed her.
