What did it come from?

Came across a single Klipsch speaker ..... looks to be a 15" woofer.

Who knows what it is?? What did it come out of??

If it is an old alnico magnet woofer it was made by EV or someone else for Klipsch. It is probably worth more with the Klipsch logo on it but in the old days all Klipsch made were cabinets and crossovers. They bought the drivers from outside sources.

The denizens of the forums at www.klipsch.com can tell you exactly. The best place to ask is probably the "updating older speakers" forum, or the "odds and mods" or the "two-channel" forums.

It looks like it's never been mounted in a box. No sign of it being bolted in.

Has the ID numbers and name, but no Klipsch logo. ??

Might have been a replacment, that was never used. Will check further.

Klipsch Cornwall II

I believe it is a Cornwall II woofer, but may also be used in other Klipsch speakers. As suggested earlier, check the klipsch forum to be sure.
