Pickering v15 xb-at2b is a record changer/jukebox cartridge...single hole mount...probably meant to upgrade ceramic carts.

Henry (my avatar) says it's for a Garrard changer of the type used by KLH for the Model 20 or 24 compact stereo. Electrically, it's the same as any other V-15 or Stanton 500 but, because of the single mounting hole, it won't fit other turntables.

Yikes! It ain't me! I'm not the droid you're looking for. RickB knows his old Pickerings, and boreas knows about the relationship twixt Henry Kloss and Pickering's V-15 cartridges as used in the '60s KLH component-console stereos using Garrard changers.

I think the one-hole cartridge body designation is "V-15 HB", like so:


illinoisteve shows a funny-looking adapter that allowed him to mount his HB to a normal headshell.

A stylus calling itself AT2B would appear to be a variant of the DAT2 or DAT-2 or D AT-2, a heavy-tracking 0.7 mil conical. Exactly how it varies is something I don't know.

I have 2 v15s. One v15sg__ reads 920-919 ohms. The other is a v15 L-2 reads 249-250 ohms, what gives?
