I thought I say the Virgin Mother's breasts, until I realized those were cone drivers behind the baffle.

I'm guessing those are DIY speakers. Some makers did use similar cut-out patterns on their grilles, but usually those would have the pattern neatly centered with a solid edge around the perimeter. Look at the edges of those grilles: the pattern is just sliced-through on each side. Large pre-cut panels like those grilles could be bought from lumber yards and cut to size, which is what appears to have happened here. A lot of people used to buy drivers from suppliers like Peerless, and put them in home-made cabinets, so my vote is for "DIY" brand!
