My CD/LP/Tape Collection

My mother passed away and little while ago and while clearing out her house and sorting through her 30 or so records there were only three that I felt the need to take. My mother's taste in music was far more varied than mine. This one I normally would have definitely passed on but because, way back when I was in the Canadian reserve forces, the regiment that I was in was the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders (I still have my glengarry as seen in front of the album). I'm not sure if my mother had this album because of that or if it is just a strange coincidence. Either way, I needed to have it for nostalgic sake. I struggled to listen to the complete side one and not going to bother with side two. The pipes and drums have a place but not today.

I found it took me years to listen to and part out my parent's record collection. It sat in crates about two years before I could do it. I kept very little of it either. Loss of parents is difficult at any age. You have my deepest condolences.
