What small vintage speakers are in your collection?

I'm using a pair of tiny Canton Plus S in the kitchen, hanging below the kitchen cabinets. Once source says the Plus S was produced from 1984 to 2002, so not sure how "vintage" mine are. Behind the fridge is a low profile powered sub, Fosi BT20a Pro amp, and the TV (with Roku as singular content source) is used as the "preamp" (for Spotify, Pandora, cable TV, Netflix, etc). Everything can be controlled with the simple Roku remote, so it is very easy to operate. The iPhone video overboosts the bass a bit (at least on my computer audio with sub) -- it sounds very good in real life.

Recently got a pair of JVC SX-V1A-M speakers, sound stunning near field, weigh a ton for their size, due to the brass front baffle, and solid mahogany cabinet, not sure if their vintage from 1997 though.

Here’s some old Utah HS-2AX bookshelf speakers. Do they sound great? No, but they compliment other speakers well. And they have often served as my testing speakers.

I have these and find them quite enjoyable. A decent speaker for middle of the road stuff. Nothing bad about it. Obviously the cone tweet gives it a slightly veiled sound but I shrill highs more.

I have two pairs of Celestion Ditton 11’s. One pair is original boxed and is literally in time warp as new condition. Lovely little units.

Not super small or super vintage but I have a pair of Klipsch KG-2.5s from the mid-90's. Love them!

The only other small speakers in my home are a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 8.1s. Not really vintage but they're definitely small with 5.25" woofers. They image very well and sound surprisingly larger than they should.

Norman Lab Model 14's..

I've eliminated the resets, and replaced the caps.. these are keepers, but I am looking for a Model 15 sub to pair with them..

I have a pair of Razer Nommo Chroma 2.0 full range gaming speakers on my computer desk. Super small but sound great with music. I love that it has customizable RGB lighting effects, fun to play with.

I got the non RGB version for a system I built a friend a couple of years ago, always impressed by how good they sound for such small drivers, no idea where all that bass comes from.

IKR! Not that it really needs it, but I don't have the sub. I still contemplate finding and adding it to the system.

We tried to id these on here years ago. 8” alnico’s with horns. Assumed to be a kit with custom badge. Absolutely sound better than they should!

My most 'small', other than a pair of Bose 101s, is a very nice set of Polk RT35i speakers... I think they sound very good, indeed...

Back in the day I imagine that all of these would have been considered small (from largest to smallest):

Snell Type KII
Snell Type M
ADS L300W

Goodmans Maximus One's from the mid-60's. Tiny. They tried to compete against the AR-4 but size does matter. $50 each. As a near field monitor they are amazing for the size. The long throw 4.5" woofer is unique and the cabinet is tightly sealed to prevent leaks. Goodmans tried to use a small diameter driver with really long linear motion rather than a larger diameter woofer with shorter motion. I got them in 1973 from a lady I worked with whose kids overdrive them at a party. I repaired the woofers with new tinsel wire but had to replace the dead tweeters with CTS phenolic ring's.
