U got the look, (u got the look)
It musta took, (it musta took)
A whole hour
Just to make up your face! Bayay-Bauh!

Life's the same, I'm moving in stereo
Life's the same except for my shoes
Life's the same, you're shakin' like tremolo
Life's the same, it's all inside you.

Bob Welch: Sentimental Lady. I must have heard this on a TV show recently and today it is stuck in my head (the bridge part at least "...And all of the things that I said that I wanted...") I'm not familiar with the Fleetwood Mac version.

Listen to it. Danny Kirwan's soaring guitar intertwined with Christine McVie's crystalline BG vocal on the choruses and outro absolutely make the song. Even though it was originally a Welch composition, his remake of it was no improvement.

Well, I stand up next a mountain, chop it down with the edge of my hand, pick up all the broken pieces to make an island might even raise a little sand...... or/ and; oh lord won't you buy me a mercedes benz....Billie had two big caves for eyes and a cliff for a mouth that would go up and down, Hope you can guess what i've been listening to...cause I can't get you out of my mind

Paradise
John Prine

(..." Daddy won't you take me back to Muhlenberg County ... )

Funny, I never have a problem with a John Prine song being stuck in my head.

Dream Girl by Samantha Fish. The song has morphed into quite a rocker when they do it live.

Wife and I were discussing the history of Fleetwood Mac. I mentioned Bob Welch had a hit with Ebony Eyes, now that’s stuck.
