Can' recall ever seeing one like that.

I'm not entirely sure that it's a Peerless tweeter in there - the backplate looks like a KO10DT, but lacks the fabric dome and terminal wires.

But yeah, very interesting speakers. Cabinet makes me think Boston too...

Yeah, $20 is my threshold price but these will have to go to another who needs a deal and a project.

The Boston CL has been dripping with deals lately and I've been busy.

I passed on a pair of these for $20 a few weeks back. They were sitting in a damp cellar so that didn't help things. The narrow cabinet construction reminded me of some of the boston a series type speakers. I wasn't impressed with the weight and overall construction of them so they didn't come home with me. I'm still wishing I'd brought home a pair of wharfdale w60's which were right beside the realistics.

My wifes friend had a pair of those years ago and I like the sound and normal levels but when cranking them they got boomie on the bass and ditorted easy, (could of been the sorce too) cheap panisonic all in one from the early 70's. but not a bad first time unit for normal listening.

They are Radio Shack Optimus 27 with a PR. The tweeter is generic.
