Even a cursory view of the history of music reveals that lascivious dancing girls and singers are as old as music itself, and that there's been popular "fluff" songs for the unwashed masses' entertainment for as long as well.

I was totally confused for a while. I had watched it half a dozen times, thoroughly enjoyed it, and I still couldn't understand why people were complaining about the music.

Then I realized I had the volume off.

Yes, sexually provocative music has been around forever.
That being said I found nothing sexy about "women or trannies" in that video trying to act sexy.

I have Bessie Smith albums, and a ton of Billie Holiday, and a lot of traditional blues, but I've never heard of Emma. Even more amazing, based on the comments she was still performing long into old age. I'm definitely going to have to do some digging.
 
The op is from Israel. Perhaps he isn't exposed to the tasteless garbage that passes for American culture today. Anyone who links early to mid 20th century music to today's loses credibility.
I will rephrase the first part. He doesn't understand how this stuff passes for entertainment. I don't either. It certainly isn't coming out of my radio.

There seems to be a lot of talk about audio being subjective at the moment but it really is isn't it? I genuinely enjoyed this. The video made me laugh. The tune made me think I would happily bounce around to it after a few beers. Kinda fun.
