This should be fun...song lyrics: what they really are versus what you thought they were. For instance..why would the Stones write a song that said " I'll never leave your pizza burnin'" or Creedence " there's a bathroom on the right". Let's have fun..:banana::music:

Ok...in Paranoid, does Ozzy say " I tell you to end your life", or "I tell you to enjoy life"? He claims the latter...I always thought it was the former....:music::music::saywhat:

Here's another good one: when I was in Co. Springs in the 80s, an older sounding woman called the radio station complaining about the song "Rob the Cashbox".:lmao:
 
Back in the 1970's when I was young my friend let me borrow an Alice Cooper record since I had not heard any of Alice's music yet. I am pretty sure the album was Killer, I put on the record and the first line of the song Under My Wheels I hear Alice say California's ringing.

Now I really liked the album and when I gave it back to my friend the next day he asked me what I thought and I said I thought it was great but what did he/Alice mean when he said California's ringing? My friend laughed and told me Alice said telephone is ringing, I don't know why I heard California's ringing that first time I heard that song cause I only hear Telephone is ringing ever since I was told that's what Alice said.

Believe it or not back in my senior year of high school I ran into another guy who heard California's ringing as well, maybe it was something in those Canadian Pressings.

Sounds like the former to me, but the latter would make more sense given that it's followed. "...I wish I could, but it's too late"

When Alice Cooper was just starting out, a record producer liked one of his songs about being "EDGEY", the song was "I'm Eighteen"
