What was your first car?

@vinowino posted a picture of a 56 Ford Zephyr in the Cars and other things with wheels (his first)
so I thought it would be interesting to see what other members had for their first car.
Here's mine (not my actual car, but one like it)

A mildew riddled 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass "Supreme" SL sedan I got from my dads old buddy. In banal white with the grey interior. On black steelies. Honestly liked the way it looked and took good care of it and beat it at the same time. But my dad helped me get it because I was only 15 and couldn't work yet.

First I got on my own in my name was a all black 1996 Ram 1500 4x4. That was when I was 23. It was the rustiest pile but at the same time looked sweet after some tlc. Extended cab/short bed I loved it to death. SUPER comfortable. I totaled it 7 years ago trying to get my at the time girly friend home in a blizzard. I still miss it and I'm gonna buy a couple more to fix up soon if things go swimmingly.

1963 Ford Galaxie 500. Bought it from some Italian guys who taught me Italian swear words. Paid $50. Took it to Kmart automotive and got 4 new retread tires for $60. Drove it about 2 years and sold it to a guy who entered it in a demolition derby and finished 3rd

1973 pinto station wagon. Not my choice. Was a hand me down. Wish mine looked this nice!

Used 1967 GTO. In 1974? 400, auto, air, ps, pb. Good shape, faded gold paint. Very nice black top and seats.
It was pure luck.

1968 VW Beetle. White, on a 1970 floor pan. Wrecked it about 3 months later going too fast around a turn with a wet road and garbage tires. Slid off the road right into a rather stout fence that happened to line up perfectly with the A pillar. Car was about a foot narrower than it should have been between the front of the door and the fender.

1960 Chevrolet got it in 1969.

Used Fiat 850 Spider. All of 903cc inline-4 power. I could floor it from stoplight to stoplight and nobody noticed.

It had a roll bar though, and I could hold the windshield and the roll bar, and jump over the door and into it in one motion.

It also had oversteer.

One like this, an Alfa Romeo Giulietta which was very difficult to keep running, disastrous in the snow that was stolen off the street at a repair garage in Stockton, NJ.

64 Plymouth Sport Fury, 383 391 rear end, torque flight tyranny. It was given to me with the door and quarter pnl crunched. I got used door and quarter panel from a wrecker yard.
