What'd ya get from your Secret Santa? v.2009

[Mike Gibson]

Nothing here yet but it's early yet.

[TejasRichard]

nada for me yet.
Ernie, thanks for organizing this thing. It has been superfun so far, seeing what everybody got. The anticipation, of course of seeing what I get, but also in a big way, of seeing my gift goes over, has made this Christmas season excitingly awesome! Thanks for all your help and hard work!

[jaymanaa]

jaymanaa, your recipient posted. He sounded pleased.

Ahhh, so he did, I must have missed it in my old age.

[Stephen J]

Santa's on his way...

..with lots of toy's and goodies on his sleigh......

[pioneervato]

You know that saying "Good things come to those who wait." Or how about "Patience is a virtue."? Well they're both true!!

My SS is AWESOME!!! I am now the proud owner of an ORIGINAL work of art from Pioneervato... Actually the owner of TWO of his works of art but my SS gift is absolutely FABULOUS!! As soon as I find the perfect frame for it I'll post a picture.

A HUGE THANK YOU to my "sneaky" Secret Santa!

(And I didn't even have to slip Ernie that extra $20!)

Glad you like it, Toni! Enjoy.

Jesse

Nothing yet here either. I sent my secret santa gift out on the 10th so it should have reached its recipient by now. :scratch2:

Please reference my earlier post to pioneervato, about cross-border shipping times, especially in December, if you use USPS.

Wish I had known about this. maybe I can join in next year?

Please watch for the sign-up thread, in early November. Absolutely, you can join in the fun. We'll be glad to have you.

I look forward to this being a great thread every year. This one is no exception. Sounds like SS's did their homework. The best thing is when someone sends you something that you didn't even know you needed. The tunes and books I've received over the years have been some of my most used items. :thmbsp:

Yeah, like the screw driver set I got. I got it Thursday, ended up using them about 5 times yesterday while installing the surround sound system into the cabinet in the living room. One was to take the DVD player apart, since I tilted it while it had movies in it. DOH!

[grumpy]

Sorry I am late to the party. My gift of a very cool CD arrived a couple of weeks ago. Thanks Santa !

[drknstrmyknight]

How many participants were there this year?

[chillwolf]

I got home tonight and there was my package from my SS. Opened it up and found a Portishead Roseland NYC Live Double LP! I've never heard of them but I'm listening as I type. Pretty interesting stuff..........and I LIKE it.

Thanks SS for turning me onto this group!
