What'd ya get from your Secret Santa? v.2009

I just recieved word through a phone call from my favorite musical elf that there was a problem with my shipment. However, he will be calling me tomorrow in order to get a replacement item out. Then it will be sent at all haste in order to give it the best chance of getting there in time.

It would have been remedied today, however I was taking a rare cat nap when he called and I most likely sounded very incoherent., and possibly like I was a drooling idiot. So when he calls tomorrow I'll be ready. :thmbsp:
 
So much for 2 day priority mail. Sent mine out on Monday and it should have been there already. Damn USPS! Carrier pigeon or a real pony express would have been faster.

My SS is a sneaky Bast**d !

Well, all this time I thought the gift certificate I received from Sound stage direct was some sort of AK promotion. :banana: The... From: portion said Shhh it's a secret AK thing. So I never put the 2 things together.Especially since it came so early ! Dec 5th. I always assume people procrastinate like me. :D
Now the hard part....deciding what to order :scratch2:....
And the problem....who to thank ? OK Ernie,to whom do I send the thank you note ??? Hmmmmmmm ?

Seth was my SS elf last year - even straightened out my order that I screwed up on with just a hurried phone call. Went a different route this year but apparently another elf was just as discreet.

He did a fine job. Many go the music route as it is always safe. I have always tried to go a different way and my SS did as well. I received a box of bullets for reloading. They are the perfect size and weight.:thmbsp:

Stephen, did you think we chose the name "Secret Santa" just for fun? This thread is for bragging on what you got, and for thanking your Secret Santa. He or she will see it, and know that the selection was a good one.

I've played part of it and it sounds great... much different from the MFSL copy (I only have that one on R2R).
 
I got a really nice set of screw drivers, Vaco (never heard of them before but looking them/talking to my dad they are good stuff). Really handy since I have lost most of mine. These will go right in my tool box so i don't lose them.

Should be fun to figure out since there's no return address so you can at least get location down. :D

The only place I've ever been involved in this was a couple of times at work.
And usually you found out at the Christmas party when your secret Santa gave you the gift.Silly me,I signed the tag. :o
 
I think the 'Secret' part of Secret Santa as part of the fun, so I didn't knowingly give any indication of who I am on my gift. I figure I'll eventually find out on here if I did a good job figuring out what to get.
 
Nuttin' here yet. I must be payin' penance myself for being a late bloomer. Next year I will send out my SS gift even before we start SS. :D
