I feel like the factory original flat dish wheels or the later cup 2s suit the 928 the best. Maybe you can find cup 2 replicas in 18's?

It’s your car… however, I prefer stock sizes on classic cars. The 928 is a very elegant car, I’m a little bit envious.
They look a tad large, but more importantly, how is the ride quality? My 2016 Charger with 245 x 45 x 20 rides okay here in ABQ with our beat up streets, but my wife's 2016 Charger with the same wheels and " Sport" suspension rides like a skateboard (aka Schiit). My son drives a 2013 Chrysler 200 with 225 x 50 x 18 that look huge on the little car, but it rides nice.
Since you have 295 x 30 x19, I would think that have only 30 cm of sidewall would make for a very rough, kidney killing ride unless you have streets that are smooth.

Rides alittle more firm but not to bad,makes the drive alot more positive if that makes sense

I do have the original wheels, they have been refurbished and fitted with a new set of semi slicks, 225 50 16
I wish I had best of both worlds,maybe 295 40 17 or something like that ,been trying to get some matching rims a bit wider for back,325 maybe? But the cost is huge for me lol

It's not all that bad,
Roads not that best but I drive slow, how many horses does the charger have,this being a old girl has 310 ,it's a english import so full power

Car arrived 40 years late.........
I traded my 2016 Charger "Scat Pack" with 480 HP V-8 for a 2016 Charger "Rallye" with 300HP V-6 and got some serious $$$ back too. I don't miss the thirsty V-8 at all, 300HP with an 8 speed transmission is plenty of GO for an old fart like me !

I think visually it looks a little weird. The proportions seem off, kinda like a Hotwheels or Matchbox car.
Only your opinion matters, but since you asked, the 19's look very, very out of place on a 928 to my eye.
Maybe post a pic with the original 16" wheels for comparison.
I think the early 928's came with 15" wheels, and 16" was optional -- so the 19's are one big leap for wheelkind
. I'd think 17's would be nice upgrade, but I can't find a way to like the 19's (not that you should care what I think).

Wonder if the 928 driving dynamics suffer with the big wheels.
My E28 535i which came with metric wheels, 15.35”, yes, the wonderful TRX tires from Michelin that lasted 40,000 miles back then and were eclipsed by the Avon CR28 for driving enjoyment were a proper size with the smaller engined cars having 15s and the ///M5 having 16s.
Almost every 535i of that chassis has ditched the metric and reshoed. Some with 15s, most with 16 and a few 17s and 18s. These 17s make steering harder, less fun and the car feels sluggish compared to a set of 16s with proper tires. 18s are just for looks because the car would be no fun to drive.
The E28 is so sensitive wrt driving dynamics putting wider tires on the front is detrimental to the fun factor. Some do because they want 225s in back. 205s are all the front wants when enjoying the twistiest, without fighting the car is the goal.

I went from 240/220-55-390 TRX to Pirelli PZero Nero 16", on similar factory wheels, mostly because TRX's repops (only available from Coker at the time) were expensive and I was concerned they may no longer be available at some point. I also switched because virtually everybody was saying TRX performance was poor. It turned out to be a significant downgrade, the Pirelli's were far worse than the TRX in every. way (noisy, rough, handling, etc). It may well be there are other 16" tires that would have done better -- but the TRX's were very good in my experience (contrary to pretty much everyone).
I think Michelin was onto something with the improved bead design with the TRX, but the metric sizes and zero compatibility with existing wheels/tires killed it. It was the Betamax of tires I guess
