What's your best thrift store speaker score?

Hi all,

Not sure if it's my best find but, sure is GOOD! I recently found a PRISTINE condition (just beautiful as new condition) pair of "ACOUSTIC ENERGY AEGIS 1's" at my local "Thrift Shop"
for (if memory serves) twenty dollars the pair! Hooked up with my Classic NAD 3140 Integrated Amp, sounds wonderful! Keeping these (rather rare in the U.S. English Speakers) for sure!

It was a good year. I had just picked up the stack of McIntosh gear through kijiji. Second day listed too. The Wharfedale's were from a Salvation Army auction. Both of us wanted them, but I went higher.
 
Just picked up a pair of these minty custom made speakers with hi end Seas drivers for almost nothing at the local thrift.Deals are still out there it seems image.jpeg
 
Couldn't resist a nifty Pflueger baitcast reel w/fine engraving, etc for $5 at a thrift. Traded it to a buddy for a pair of ADS L-10s...so that kinda counts as a thrift find I guess:)
 
Wow, I have found nothing as crazy good as some of what is shown here.

Haven't had a score in a while from any, both of those were quite a few years ago.
 
I just picked up some KLH Model 23's at a favorite thrift store for $29 in very good condition. Now for a recap and a little cab oiling...
 
A pair of nice Dynaco A25 for $25. A pair of nearly mint Pinnacle AC600 speakers for $20. The Dynacos needed the X'ver rebuilt and the Pinnacles went on duty immediately.
 
from recycling yesterday, celestion ditton 44's (my 5th pair) And a truly horrible pair of Tannoy DC200's
 
Sad part is the surrounds were probably all they needed before being thrown in the skip and having the cabinets ruined by rain.
