What's your "every day carry" gear?

I just picked up a CRKT Pike's Peak knife, IMHO absolutely perfect for EDC. Very similar to this (mine is black):

I'm also debating what to carry for a flashlight; I know it has to be a good LED in a small size. What do you carry?

I have a Gerber Paraframe clip knife with 3" blade. Best I've had! Used it now for a year, and never needed to sharpen it. I don't carry a flashlight anymore, but I always did when I was a TV repairman. It was a AA Mag Lite. Today I have a AA LED Mag Lite, which I would carry if I were to carry a flashlight. I keep one in every car & truck, and also in my notebook case which I carry with me. Just not on my person. We will not discuss other metal objects carried by people every day ;)

For my work gear I carry a CRKT ZillaTool and Gerber Cornea flashlight. I'm a garage door tech, so I use this stuff multiple times every day. The NiteIze Pock-Its pouch fits these perfectly. I'd be lost without my tools and lights!

I always have my trusty Swiss Army knife in my pocket. Maybe not the best but it has never let me down!
I did, however, nearly cut my finger off with it! The blades really need to be a lock style!!

I keep a Victorinox Tinker model and Mini Mag (2xAAA cell, with lanyard) in my backpack. I've also got a Schrade Tradesman TM7 mini-lockback (with Imperial Ireland blade, not one of the new Chinese ones) on my keychain, with several put back for spares.

In Russia it's always a Leatherman, MiniMag flashlight, Pentel 0.7 mm pencil, wire-bound pocket notebook, Casio mini scientific calculator and an 8m tape measure. I can build anything with that stuff. Veritable Bat-belt.

I've got a variety of pocketknives to choose from after collecting them for a few years. Around the ol' farm and in the woods I carry a CRKT M16. It is one tough knife, and so far my favorite to carry around. Any other time I usually have my Swiss Army knife.

That's my "alternate" EDC knife. :D

I just got a Streamlight MicroStream flashlight. One AAA battery. One #%*! of a lot of light.

It now has a home right next to my CRKT pocketknife!

Awesome! :thmbsp:

My everday carry knife is a small pocket Blue Corcob Case three blade. If I am going somwhere that warrants it then its my Leatherman and Smith&Wesson Tactical.
