Which stylus for beat-up 45s?

Ok. I've now mounted both the conicals (Sanyo MG10J & AT3600) onto Tonar headshells and will give them a whirl (or, is it a twirl?). Thanks everyone. Cheers for now. David.

Cleaned and listened to them all tonight with the Sanyo conical. All but two sounded excellent. Fun, fun, fun. I see more 45s in my future listening.

Glad I could assist you. Over 50% of my daily vinyl fare is 45 RPM singles. And I love their sonics. Glad to see you enjoying classic music in it's original period sound. :tresbon:

Old 45's

Glad I could assist you.

Hi Kent.

I tried the AT3600, but it was distorting a bit. I might not have aligned it properly. In any event, the Sanyo is working well.

I think I am going to go back to that StVDeP. They have hundreds of 45s. I'll go see what I missed the first time.

Thanks again. Cheers for now. David.

Well, anything worth doing is worth over-doing. Just bought 70 more 45rpm singles today. Much, much more cleaning and listening await.
