Stupid people... cause items that shouldn't be $15 to be $150 at GW....someone make them go away.

[Brian]

Is this like a joke? BIN of $3,000!?

[hoahao]

hehe... BuyatCost was the winning bidder. He needs to change his handle to I'masucker.

[Zappafan]

Darn, I didn't get my bid in in time.

[MaDHaTteR]

What i find funny , is these speakers are sold as is and untested, and there asking for a price like that!! its insanity

[bully]

A better handle would be "I'm a dumb fncker"!

You think that's funny look at this ad.

If it says it on the box it must be true?

From the ad:

"They sounded unbelievable comepared to my $700 JBL's."

I'll bet they did.

The best part is on the box, "Retail price $1299 each"

Gummy Worms have the price printed on them, soda comes with a price on the outside, $1300 speakers do not have their retail price on the outside. What kind of respectable audio company would do that, I mean, come on!

dew.

[Bigerik]

Would love to know what the wholesale is on those guys.

I was the spoiler for that guy. If you look further up on the page, you'll see a couple RE's about them, warning CL'ers about em. Yeah, I know if people are that stupid to buy them, they probably deserve it, but if I can save some poor soul from audio purgatory...

[Fuzzy Lumpkins]

At least the Bidder at the GW site didn't hit the reserve.

[Dan ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ]

They failed to mention that the $700 JBL's had blown drivers...

[Bogframe]

They sure are purty, though! The connects and the layout make them look good enough to fool someone unaquainted with the antics of the white van guys.
