Hello folks!!
We're 2019 and I just stumbled into a pair of the Technics Sb-R200 myself, was exactly intrigued in the fact that they are Dual Concentric and wanted to hear them. Got them from 2 hours from where I live, thankfully I had someone picking them up for me that was in that 2 hours city from where I am. Got them, they are working but unfortunately when I spoke to the owner he claim they worked perfect last time he uses them but I forgot to ask him to send me pictures without the grill so I can see how everything inside looks like especially if the contour of the woofer didn't dry out like we find in many Old vintage speakers of that time especially that these ones are HoneyComb as well etc..
Well in fact thats what happened. Either way to make a long story short... anyone would happen to have an idea where I can get a REFOAM KIT for these Sb-R200?? I'll post some pictures this week-end. Sucks because I really wanted to hear them in their full complete working way without dried out contour etc... Of course now i'm listening to them but anything about the low end isn't there much because the refoam isn't there etc.. Sucks
IF anyone has an idea, please feel free to share any link I could get the refoam kit because while lsitening I could notice how beautiful about the mids and highs in these Dual Concentric speakers sound. Very beautiful but can't comment more about the whole experience of course not.

That is definitely an interesting dspeaker. I don't know if there would be foam kits for this or not, you'll have to do some searching, you may end up having to do some measurements of the driver dimesions and get a generic foam that matches. Could be a tricky proposition considering the design. Let us know how you make out

Close up pictures would really help. But from pics on the web, your only option may be to take careful measurements and buy foam surrounds that meet those dimensions. If you are lucky, the surround dimensions will match a surround that is available.
If you check out the foam vendors' (Simply Speakers, Springfield Speaker Repair) websites, you will see the dimensions that they spec out for foams. That is what you need to measure.

I use some Technics SB-F3's, since my hifi room is relatively small, yet these speakers work like a champ! They fill the whole basement with sound, even though they are in a small room in the back.

I have a set of 5000A's I play once in awhile.
which have the 5000 woofer and tweeter below in a round ported Cabinet unlike the 5000 below
They sound nice, they are rated at 75 wpc which is about right, if music is bass heavy they will not take all of a 100wpc amp without the woofer bottoming out. (with bass control set to flat)

I will be once I figure out where to go to buy replacement mids and foam rub for the woofers of my SB2685’s . I’m kind of a newbe when it comes to reconditioning speakers. Figure I would learn using my technics. Just can’t seem to let them go. Such good memories when I bought the system in my 20’s.

Well , I’m only 3 years late reading and responding ( ran into some health & career issues that knocked me out of the game ). Now. . . Good luck finding parts for that. The first set of speakers I bought myself back in 1980 was a set of SB L50's,to go along with a HH Scott 355R and Technics SL 210 turntable. Still have the receiver and turntable. Speakers are long gone.

I just picked up a pair of SB6000s ($50). Nice bass and the tweeters are perfect. I'm a horn guy, so I might Econowave them because I have a couple sets of HF systems.

I own the SB-4500, SB-5000a and SB-6000a (of which I recapped the x-over). I'd wanted some EB-100 or EB-200 for a long time - hard to come by, that's for sure.
I finally found myself a pair of E-100's that was only a 6 hour round trip drive - and glad I made that drive.
Speakers needed a little bit of detailing/cleaning but are now in mint condition.
More importantly, they truly sound incredible. I thought my 6000a's sounded amazing......not beside the 100's.
Everything I've thrown at them they have responded to with incredible detail and musicality. I even tried John Williams E.T Soundtrack - it was an orchestral wall of sound. Absolutely amazing.
