Who is the youngest person on these boards?

I have a feeling that most of y'all are old geezers ready for social security but are there any young AK'ers, like in their 20's, or even college students or hell, even teenagers interested in vintage hi-fi?
I'm 22 and I have one piece of gear that's older than me (NAD 1020) but I'm getting a Marantz 2215 next week.

Hey I resemble that remark :p: I'm only 56 sunny!

We have had a few teenagers check in over the life of this board and it has been quite fun reading their experiances and questions here.

I'm 26...have been interested in tube type equipment since I was 10 or maybe earlier...I took apart an old RCA victor tube record player and turned it into a public address amplifier using a headphone driver for a mic when I was in 4th grade...that's about the earliest I remember working with tube equipment.
 
Yep, im probbly the youngest regular. I know there are a few other members that are younger than me but they dont post regularly. im 18.
 
Now are we sticking to physical age or does mental age count?

Now that I'm entering my second childhood...

I believe there are more younger folks here than you might think. Heck... we got a teenager over in the TV forum... mbates14 .

I'm 35. When I joined AK just a few months after it was started, there were only 200 members... and I thought I was one of the "kids" here. LOL... it didn't take long for that to change!

Now that we've got over 2000 members, it seems we've got a very wide range of ages here. I think it's great.

Fartknocker noun knocker of the farts.

1. A stingy, lowly sort of fellow who blows hot air out of his/her rectum. esp. a boss in a sweat-shop.
2. A semi-derogatory term that is based on a long, popping fart that simulates the sound of knocking; often farted on wooden chairs.
3. A kind of weasel of the two-legged variety.
4. A person who farts with such horrific power that they knock someone out.

You just feel that way cause you lost your "20-something" status. I recall how dramatic it was when I turned 30. I think this is where we really start thinking about our future cause we realize that we're not going to get any younger!
 
I guess I would be considered "middle aged, "on this forum

As i am 36, and will be 37 in october. I have been working/messing in electronic/electrical interests for around 30 years now.
 
I can't believe that this thread contained the 20,000th post in this forum.

At least Thor miscounted and missed the event:)
