who made these?

It does look a lot like Sansui. Might be a good idea to ask the seller for bigger pictures. Or see if he is willing to take the cover off and take a pic?

just a guess

I can't see the pics but when you say Sears and look like Sansui, AGS come to mind. I have a set of Sears Professional speakers that have the lattice grills and look similiar to Sansui grills. mine have a woofer 12" and 2 dome tweeter/midrange drivers. kind of an odd set up but they don't sound bad. on the back they say made for sears by AGS electronics.

I don't think that they were made by Sansui anymore. To start with, they say made in korea. Wasn't sansui always made in Japan? Here's the back of an AU-717 for comparison:
