Why are the prettiest ones always mono?

Picked this babe up today. Fisher 90t Does anyone know if this case is original? It’s thick. Also found it funny that is has a MPX output. Where is the MPX adapter output supposed to plug into???

Very Nice and yes you can hook up a Multiplex unit to it. Something special about these old mono pieces appearance wise, my 2 cents. Cabinet looks good on it. Best Regards Al

Very nice example. My original as built with all Fisher tubes sounds amazing.
Can’t speak for your cabinet, mine was made by me in walnut.

Oh, C&C, I am so jealous! My very first piece of serious audio stuff was a sparkling new 90T. Teamed with an 80AZ power amp and my kit-built University speaker, it was wonderful. I was so satisfying in so many ways which newer - and much more expensive equipment - never did. That audio satisfaction eluded me for a bunch of decades… until I got my fully-Gillespie-ized 500C!

Our 90T had an original Fisher “blonde” wood cabinet that was much different from your cabinet.

Nice gear! The cab may be custom--looks nice. Here's my 500 receiver in a factory blond cabinet (a bit patchy--needs some restore work).
