I was watching a pair of KEF 103.2's for the duration of the listing. Put an early low bid and waited til the end. A half hour before close the wife looks at me and says "your not ready yet? Let's go..." Dr. Appt. I forgot. I put a bid of $150 to top the $120 high and walked out.
I get back from the office to find the bids went to $183. Check the buyers feedback and notice he is registered in UK. The listing clearly states ship to US only. I emailed the seller, offered to take the speakers off his hands if the deal falls through. He tells me the buyer provided a US shipping address and thanks but no thanks.
A week goes by, and I get an email from the seller. Seems shipping to UK was more than the price of the speakers and way more than the buyer was willing to spend, would I be interested still. I ask for a total with shipping and he sends me a second chance offer good for my high bid of $150. The rest is history. I love these 103.2's. Definately recommended listening.
