Will a Phono Pre amp do? or do i need a new receiver/preamp?

I just stumbled onto this thread, thought WOW what a gr8 idea..I went to the website and saw we can order a sample pack for just cost of about US$0.99c for postage. The details of product sounds like the pieces of Dimming "film" are sticking using something along the lines of the "electrostatic" adhesive principle. They are easily removed from use and I get impression that each piece can be re-used. I have ordered 2 packs of assorted size and a sheet about 3.5 inch x 8 inch approx-convenient for cutting to uncommon sizes. So I can then make those modern hifi componentry "Bloody Bright Blue LED" indicator lights less bright than the Sun !! Post from the USA to Far North Australia can take average of 4 weeks-I will put some comments on here once I receive and try-out. But be aware that will not be for a while boys

PS This morning we awoke to news headlines of another shooting at a Florida School....I express my most sincere sympathy to ALL USA communities and their people and hope and pray that your Governments-Federal and State-can pull together and DO SOMETHING to at least SHOW AN INCREASED PROACTIVE INTEREST to work with your Firearm enthusiasts and related stakeholders to collectively implement changes to your lifestyles/firearm licensing/and maybe even amend your Constitution if necessary in order to SHOW THAT THEY CARE ABOUT THE YOUNG PEOPLE who are NEEDED to RUN THE USA in THE FUTURE. This is only my humble opinion and while not within the topic of this thread I feel most strongly for those suffering loss of life and injury-both physically and emotionally. My thoughts and prayers include those Families and fellow students who must be going through such shock and suffering. You USA guys are pretty kewl and sure don't deserve such Life-Shattering events.
