Will I have a problem running stacked Advents parallel with my Sansui 7070?

I'd like to run stacked Advents, can my Sansui handle them wired parallel? I've been reading opinions that are all over the place and unsure. Some say wire them in series, others say the sound will suffer from that, they should be parallel. I'm not a tech and don't want to hurt my receiver, any experience with this or expert recommendations?

It says right on the back of the 7070 that when running two sets of speakers they need to be 8 ohms or more.

Assuming your Advents are 8 ohms you should be fine if you run them on A&B.

They are, but I've read that that can dip below that occasionally. I really like this receiver and don't want to damage it.

This is understood. It's not a brick wall so to speak. 8 ohms is simply a nominal rating/value.

Unless these are known as being in the group of a select few "amp killer" speakers, and they are not to my knowledge, it's no worries.

That makes sense. Is connecting both pairs to "A" the same as "A&B" since they are parallel either way? The reason I ask is I have a Russound Pro-6 speaker selector that will allow me to use both receivers I have set up. Essentially I will have 2 receivers, A or B input on the Pro-6, and the each pair of large Advents connected to speakers 1 and 2 on the Pro-6. Selecting speakers 1 and 2 would be running both pairs through the "A" channel on either receiver. Am I correct on this? It also appears the Pro-6 has an impedance setting to protect the amp being used.

Follow the instructions for the Russound and you should be fine.
Set the switch "Speaker Pairs" for 2 pairs of speakers using an 8 ohm receiver with two pairs of 8 ohm speakers.

Whether or not it's the same connecting two pairs to "A" or one pair to "A" and one to "B" depends on how the Sansui connects them to the amplifiers when both "A" and "B" are connected to the amplifiers.

And that's easy to determine by connecting speakers only to A (or only to B), then selecting A+B. If the music keeps playing A+B are in parallel. If it goes silent A+B are in series.

Everything I've read says A & B are parellel. I'm using a Russound speaker selector, selecting A & B speakers on it with each receiver input through A into the Russound.
 
I have read (not tested myself) the Large Advents (8ohm rated) actually dip lower than the Smaller Advents (4ohm rated).
 
I've run stacked advents. I read and followed the advice to keep the back switches on 'normal' (or decrease), advice was not to use 'extended'. Also, a moderate volume will help the unit, check the unit for heat when running, don't crank for long periods of time. etc.
