That sure looks like an inviting glow; just the thing when you come in from shovelling snow.

Wait a minute! You're in Tucson???????

Well, you can snuggle up to it when you have the air turned off and are watching us Arctic boys digging out from under 12" of white stuff.

That's the most musical space heater I've ever seen!

Someday I'll know that warmth myself, even down here in Florida.

Hey WW you ve got a really big electric Heater:D
the weather must be cold in your area...cold but good ;)

Thanks Radioactive...

Yup, I wanted something a bit more untraditional so this came outta my head. It's 82" inches high and 12" between shelves. That gave me enough room for cooling and stacking. If you have the place to build it why, it ain't so hard to do. Well, manhandling the 4' x 8' sheets of 1" MDF was a bit tricky and a table top band saw is handy for the round cuts.

re system rack

hi ,ww
your right that mdf is pretty heavy stuff.i have a set of homemade spekear cabs made out of 1'mdf and their pretty heavy.
i was thinking of doing something similar to yuor setup but using stainless tubing or aluminum.my brother works for a welding company and i could probally get the tubing at cost.while a little more expensive than the threaded rod ,i wouldnt have the cost of chrome plating them.im still looking around for ideas and another shelf that looks cool is the one on berners mcintosh site.om sure theres others but yours and his have been the only ones ive seen so far.more searching is needed but im sure ill come up with something.thanks for the input...
