I was wondering the best place to buy one/if anyone had an extra one orrrrr any measurements how to make one. Just got a 2230 and think they look even sharper in the wooden case

Get in touch with Bill Penninger of Niles, Michigan (wc1cabinetman@gmail.com), who makes wood cases for the various Marantz vintage receivers. I bought a dark walnut case for my 2285 a couple years ago. It's as good as the original case I have on a Marantz 4400. A lot of Bill's cases are on ebay (he goes by the name of penninw), but he will do special orders. I just got a quote from him the other day for an impossible to find wood case (WC-9) for my Marantz 19 receiver. Prices are competitive and the guy cares. Very easy to deal with.
