Looks like Gauss to me.

It's not Gauss.

While that aluminum magnet cover is remotely similar to the finned cast steel backplate used by Gauss, nothing else is even close in any respect.

Reminds me of some Electro-Voice I've seen. Is that magnet cover plastic or metal?

Not Gauss, not EV, far as I can tell.

Maybe European, given the terminals and such.

The cover is plastic. The cone is stamped d1006.
