Welcome. How is the dispersion width on your speakers? Any nearfield setup I have tried, had real issues with how tight the speaker dispersion was. It was always too tight.

I'm kinda new to audio speak. So I looked that up.
I do need an audio system for my job. So I had/have to have some setup. Maybe in the new place I can put the speakers 10-15 feet away. Here they must go on my desk, or behind me, which would be weird.
My ears are lower tweeter level. I toe these in to hit the back of my head. If I back up from the desk 1 ft they are aimed at my eyes. I don't move much. I'd expect my head is always less than 8" off center - until I leave. Lower mid and base seems to come right off my monitor - center. That sub helps. But the higher mid/tweeter is clearly speakers and distinctly left and right channels. More noticeable at lower volumes. Sometimes I crank it up a bit and go down stairs (breakfast/coffee) and sound is still crisp. My wife who listens 99% from another room comments on actually understanding the words they were saying. I do think I'm a bit close, but I prefer this to headphones. It feels more like music. I can feel slight vibrations in the keyboard, desk etc.

Finding a wide dispersal compact speaker is hard to find. I never succeded and ended up with a pair of Altec Series II Model threes, which were way to big but gave me what I needed, audio width.

I have my Martin Logan's 35XT in the box in the garage now. These are big (for the desk). Lookup Watkins Generation 4. Real rich and big sound. More clear. Not a Klipsh big, but easy decision to not use the others anymore.

I was thinking of the ProAC Tablettes but bought these. Never heard the ProAC, but was told they are good.
