Because many older americans still have a hard time accepting that their baseball and nfl are insignificant on a world scale. But that mentality has been changing with young generations that have been brought up playing soccer. Its the oldies that have a hard time accepting soccer.
 
Best world cup in a verryyyy long time. Great games. Great goals and love the fifa opening cartoon every day with great music.
