Would GREATLY Appriciate it...

I would surmise the WORST part of it for him will be the shoulder-to-hand cast they'll have him in MAYBE til Christmas. Logan is a bright, healthy "Into EVERYTHING all at once kid"...Bethany came down ystrday, & cleaned up our house a bit, & it nearly WORE ME OUT trying to keep up w/him... My house ISN'T exactly "Baby-Proof" either.. Fortunately, he HASN'T found "The Ships' Radio Room"...So I'm SAFE for a little while... He DID discover my Model 3000 Zenith Trans-Oceanic, & soon figgered out the "Loud" knob...

Ooh - did not realize this would involve such a large cast. Really sending best wishes for him now!

You know how it is said, "When two or three are gathered together..."

My prayer that all will be well is in the pipeline ole Sandy for Logan & the family!

Tell him, he has a lot of people sending up prayer for him!

Prayers and thoughts from my family to yours. Shriners Hospitals are the finest in birth defects care. Best wishes. The Shriners Hospitals are top notch!

Well. HAPPY to report Master Logan came thru w/"Flying Colors"..He was out of surgery by 10 this AM, spent awhile in Recovery, was a bit on the cranky side, he, his mama & daddy camped out in our hotel room, they slept for several hours, Corey went & got some prescription pain-killer for him, by then, he'd woken up, & was going like the proverbial House Afire. He got a KEWL red cast out of the deal, which didn't seem to bother him too much... He hit his Unca Sandy's foot w/it, & I feigned a Serious Injury, which involved much hollering & Monkeyshines, which got him giggling. They just left, LA & I are staying til tomorrow AM. They wanna see him back in 4 weeks, at which time, they plan to remove the cast. We were sweating bullets, which kinda seems SILLY now, but you never know. Anyhow, many thanks to ALL the wonderful AK "Uncles" & "Aunts" who kept this special little one in their thoughts & prayers the last several days.

Yippee! Hope he can get a little non-prescription ice cream too?
Dr. OTVN says ice cream is indicated for all ailments.

Glad that it all worked out.
The power of prayer and good wishes from so many is nothing to laugh at. Both he and you guys had/have a bunch of both that are coming your way.
Way to go Shriners.

LA & ! were slug-a-beds this AM, we didn't even stir, really, til it was all over. But Bethany & Corey both went on & on about how GOOD they all were to them, how they seemed to do everything possible to lessen "Booger-Butt's" trauma. Considering how he was going at his usual 110% later this afternoon, I think they succeeded. But little kids are remarkably resilient most times, & Boogie seems to be even moreso than most. Let's just say he's 100% All-Boy, takes falls, scrapes, etc in stride, w/a minimum of caterwauling. He'll tumble out of a chair, & that only seems to increase his resolve to conquer it. I found out the other day he LOVES something that I used to do to his mama years & years ago-Pull up his shirt & deliver a slobbery, LOUD "Bronx Cheer" on his tummy. The louder & raspier, the better... I can't wait til he gets older, so I can CORRUPT him as badly-If not worse-than I did his Mama...

Yer gonna turn lil' Logan into another ill tempered curmudgeon? :D

Good to hear it all came off without a hitch Sandy. Get that boy a big ice cream sundae or a 'nanner split ASAP. :thmbsp:

Damn straight. Oughta be easy, since I think he's gonna be a LOT smarter than I am.. Hafta raise him on reruns of Dr Smith & "Q" from "Star Trek" to get the appropiate laconic sneer down just right... Maybe some Peter Lorre & Sydney Greensteet thrown in for good measure.. That's part of the problem w/"Modern Life" anymore... Not enuff 1st class smartasses around to keep the Great Unwashed in check...
