Got home about half-hour ago. Went & bailed Gomez & Curly outta the Bastille (Dog boarders) sure am glad to be home !
 
Bethany & Logan dropped by for a minute, to pick up some clothes Lauriann had ordered for Corey. Anyhow, The Boogmeister was roarin' around at warp speed again, the cast mattering apparently not a whit. He managed to clock Bethany pretty good in the temple last night, not realizing, of course, what DAMAGE he can do... There is ONE good thing-He's ONLY able to grab stuff now w/just ONE hand, instead of with BOTH of them, so his Destruction Abilities are blessedly lessened for awhile. Bethany had changed the wrapping on his cast from the red to blue yesterday, & already it was needing another change. She's STILL happy its behind them now, the Dr told her he was pretty sure the remaining "Pinkie" finger will grow straight. If not, they'll deal w/it when the time comes.
 
Well, HARD to believe its been a month, but it has, & Family Krajewski are headed back to get Master Logan's cast removed, tomorrow or Thursday. LA wanted to go & call in Sick Friday night, but that would have put them REALLY short handed, so we're not gonna go down w/them. I CAN'T imagine that there will be any great problem-The ONLY problem will be when Logan socks something as hard w/his bare hand as he's been doing w/the cast... THAT's gonna hurt a time or 2 until he figgers out that he CAN'T do THAT..I DID give Bethany $400 today-I told her that was PLENTY of money to get down there & back, & a little for emergencies, if they needed it. I've ALWAYS made sure My L'il Girlfriend has had PLENTY of money in times like these-When she went to New York as a junior or senior in Hiskule, I gave her $500 in AMEX traveler's checks-and told one of the mothers/chaperones what I'd done, & to keep an eye on her..When she got back, she still had $2-300 left, & wouldn't give 'em back.. I fussed & fumed, but let her keep 'em. ****, you're only young once..
 
I hope all goes trouble free for Master Logan. Sandy, you are an awesome friend to have. And I hope the Krajewski family are all well. Shriners Hospitals are awesome with the kiddos. And do provide first class care. My own sons have seen a lot of Shriners Hospitals in Lexington, KY. I have the highest of respect for their orthopedists.

She was about the World's Biggest Tomboy growin' up...If I wanted her to do something, & she balked at it, all I'd have to say would be something like, "Aww, you're just a Dumb Ol' Girl... YOU can't do that, anyway..." And then it would be Off to the Races...She'd Do It or Harelip Hell..(grin) But there was precious little she wouldn't attempt... Most of the time, I was trying to get her to Slow Down a little.. The ONE thing I really regret is that I never got her up in a plane... Just as well though, knowing her, she woulda LOVED it, & I'd been stuck w/paying for Flying Lessons..

Gotta tell ya this one more... I'd take Miss Pris home, & look over at her, & go, "How MUCH Smoke you wanna blow up Yr Mom's Backside tonite ?!?" Bethany would get an EVIL look on her face, & we'd concoct this RIOTOUS tale of spills & chills, her mom, Marcie would just sit there, shake her head, GLARE at me, & go, "YOU ain't Right !!" I'd just Puppy-Dawg eye her, grin, & go, "I Love you, TOO, Marcie !" I ALWAYS brought Bethany home clean, WELL fed, Ready & RARIN' for more...90% of the time, SHE would call ME, Looking for Fun/Adventure/Trouble...I really don't know which one of us had the more FUN out of it all, me or her...I can't wait to absolutely Spoil & Corrupt Bethany's son, much as I did HER..
