In a heartbeat! I love TDK D90s for everyday stuff. The Camel imagery doesn't mean much to me, but the price for 100 TDKs is sweet!
Probably not for Type I bud.

The value must be in the Joe Camel packaging.
Do you think they are pre-recorded with tobbaco related marketing propaganda, if not I wonder what they were produced for?

Marketing. What better way to get exposure to young customers. Probably given away at concerts and record stores.

I would have bought them! I'm hoarding cassettes I find in the thrifts, you know, the kind that are either unopened or obviously only recorded once. I tend toward high bias by choice but sealed, I'd go for normal bias. And yes, I like them for everyday use. KSHE 2 HD plays an album in its entirety on CD every night at 9:00 so I like to be armed and ready to drop the hammer on that recording prospect if it's any good, which, generally, it is. I also record a program on Sunday night from 8-12 noon or 6-12 midnight if the offerings are any good. I have so many sources and other more suitable ways to listen and collect but I can get rarer stuff or unique public radio DJ's for instance, if the mood strikes. It does, often.
