Would you pull the trigger???

I recently scored a pair of ADS L710. They sound wonderful and lovely to the ears. Should I pull the trigger on a pair of ADS L880 for $220 Would they be a sonic improvement over the L710's? What do you all think?

Love my 880's. They've been my main speakers for a few years now.

It's all about how they sound to you. 710's aren't too hard to move - maybe the seller would let you bring your 710's and do an A/B comparison..? I don't think that's asking too much since they are asking $200+ for the speakers.

The L710's are killer speakers and a sweet spot among the ADS I've heard but have not heard 880s. My L710's are keepers, love them.

The posts I have read put the L880 below the L710 in sound quality. I don't know, I just have 710 and 810, having sold the 990, 420, 520 and 570. Nice having them but it was too many.

I'll keep the 710s they are the sweetest pair I have.

I know people say the 810 has deeper, more prominent bass. I'm not sure how the 880 lines up, but at that price, I'd be willing to find out.

As long as I didn't have to pay shipping and they are in good shape, I would jump on them. I always wondered how they sounded. Never heard a bad sounding ADS though. Let us know.

Hard to beat L710 though.
