For one speaker . . . . Over priced I would say . . .
It might be but I totally agree with his game plan.
What if he'd sell it for $1,000 and put a minimum bid for that? I think he would pay a higher initial listing fee for that than the method he is using.
I've got something I might list in a couple weeks... probably worth in the ballpark of $1,000, maybe $1,500 tops on a good day with a blonde on one arm and a brunette in the other...
I'm planning on putting it on ebay with a BIN of $2,500 BUT with a make offer provision. I don't expect to get $2,500. By putting it out this way I save the initial higher fees of listing so if it doesn't sell, it will cost me less.
Also... it's rare enough that there certainly might be someone out there who wants the exact item and doesn't care about quibbling on the BIN price.
I think this guy listed it very shrewedly if you want my opinion.
you did ask for my opinion?
:scratch2:

Just in case it sounds like I'm pimping this guys methods, I'm not related to him at all. I just happen to agree with how he's doing it from a fees to ebay point of view.
