X11 New Restoration Vid

This vid is rather new, and rather short, but comprehensive for it's brevity.

Mr. Yoshiro Yamamoto here really knows his stuff.
(His X11 had some huge problems as you will see.)

In my comment, besides my praise, I hit him up for the elusive X11 service manual.

Maybe we'll luck out.

PS: He has a couple other restorations posted on his YouTube channel. Sansui SP-300 speakers and a pair of SP-10s. The rest are comparison and demo vids. ENJOY!!

He goes pretty fast but the story is really efficiently shown in the visuals. Just requires a lot of pausing.

I have an X11 in excellent condition, but when compared to my X1 the X11 just doesn't sparkle and go as deep as my restored X1 does.
So its on the slate.

BTW...in the first video in the first posting, at the 1:44 mark, it shows that he replaced the green reed relay for the headphone circuit with an Omron G5V-2. I didn't think it was possible.

Just need to figure out which leg of a G5V would go where.
