Hi!, I am originally from Portland, Oregon, but now retired in Vietnam. I now have more free time working on my favorite pastime of audio tinkering. Hoping to meet other members who are from Vietnam and other members to share ideas and pictures. But I really want to soak up the knowledge and experiences of the wonderful people here!

I originally retired in the Philippines, I was there for 4 years but I got the travel bug again and decided to check out Vietnam. Glad I did. I really like the place here. I live in Buon Ma Thuot, which is 7 hours north of Ho Chi Minh, in the highlands of Vietnam. Its inexpensive here, the food is excellent, and healthy. Crime here is rare, I can actually walk on the street at night and not worry about getting mugged. The people are friendly and helpful.
