Hello.
If you've read my intro, then you already know that I've got a Yamaha CR-2040 coming to me sometime this week. As far as I know, it may just need a little TLC to address some cosmetic issues, but everything should be in decent working order. The only thing that caught my eye from the pictures was the fact that there was no AM antenna installed on the back of the unit.
On my 820 and 2020, I have the AM bar antenna. And those work fine on those units. I've seen pictures of the 2040 with loop style antennas mounted to a bracket on the back of the unit. And the operators manual even shows a picture of one, and makes reference to a loop antenna in the instructions. However, nothing I found indicates any specific part number or nomenclature.
My question: Where can I find the proper AM antenna for my CR-2040?
