CR-2040 - Modern solution to add rear speakers?
Hi All - Just got one of my "two" CR-2040 back from a complete overall, cost $600 something, and wondering if there is a simple solution to ad a rear speaker setup? YAMAHA CR-2040 - Voltage for Lamps?
Been working on swapping my meter and dial lamps out to LEDs. All LEDs eventually burn out, guessing the voltage is too high for the resisters or LEDs. Anyone know what the units internal voltage is or the lamp voltage? Thanks!!- badspell68

Yamaha CR-2040 Clean Up
Just got a Yamaha CR-2040 from a friends 2nd cousins estate (thought it was a CR-3020 until just a bit ago). Hooked up a pair of speakers and a turntable, and plugged it in. CR-2040 : recap experiences ?
I am tempted to recap at least the phono stage of CR2040 - there seem to be lot of caps in the signal path.
