Yamaha A-1020 Integrated Amp Questions

Hi everyone! I'm a relatively new audio enthusiast, and I recently purchased a 1985 (1986?) Yamaha A-1020 from a pawn shop. Haven't opened it up yet, but from what I can see through the vents it is incredibly clean and looks to have been maintained fairly recently by how well the cables are managed. Thing sounds better than anything I've ever had before by a huge margin, I'm just running into a couple problems with it. I'm currently running audio in through an RCA to 3.5mm jack into a PC with a pretty good Xonar soundcard, and every so often the right channel will intermittently throw out some static and even go out all together. Only way to fix it is by unplugging and replugging it back into the PC and turning the unit off and back on again. I've tried 2 different cables and got the issue both times, and it does the same thing with phones too (I tried just to check) so I don't think it's my card. Additionally, when engaging/disengaging the Auto Class A and Tone Bypass, I get the same static over both channels. Should I take it in to get the switches/components cleaned and see if that helps? The issue is really infrequent (usually only once or twice a day) but it's still pretty annoying. Any advice on things I could try would be really appreciated!

It will almost definitely be issues with pots/switches being oxidised.
Using deoxit on them while cycling the mechanisms should solve the problems.

Edit - if that doesn't fix it, a gentle clean of the relay contacts (after popping the cover off) would be good to try too. I think the thread above covers it.
