They are both good, it really depends on what you need. The A-S 801 is an excellent integrated amp, but your sources need to be added. The R-N602 is a good sounding receiver with AM, FM, Internet and Bluetooth reception built-in. I have the R-N 402 receiver feeding my KEF Q-300 speakers in my living room. I am handicapped, so just sitting back in my recliner and controlling everything through my iPad works very well for me.
In my study I have a bookshelf system with numerous pieces from Yamaha, Grunding, Denon and others feeding my BS-22LR speakers.
so, what’s your pleasure?
