Yamaha B-2 for $50

i think the B-2 uses the VFET technology which has very hard to find parts.

of course for $50 it is probably still a great deal working or not.

Probably had the wrong switch pushed or the fuses are out in the power supply. If there is a "click" and the protection light goes out, all is well. When my B-2 arrived, it had a broken fuse...with some encouragement from Glenn (Y B-2), I switched-out the fuses and "click"...all was well.

If it doesn't work (or a VFET is blown). It's well worth that money as a parts unit. Buy it, contact Echowars, and with his "clearance" ship it to him for a diagnosis and possible repair and recapping...you might just find out that you have a B-2 bargain...and audio nirvana isn't far behind!

It is VFET powered and just a beautiful sounding amp...the clarity is stunning...you will hear things in the music that never before existed, but were always there.

I live in KC and have actually bought a Yamaha YP-B2 turntable from that guy. He's an antique dealer who picks up A LOT of stuff from estates and what-not. Really nice guy.
